Midnight Crossroad- Ongoing Project #2-Read More
This book was amazing!!! I read it in less than 24 hours because I just couldn't put it down. The ending blew me away. I started watching the new TV series "Midnight, Texas" and I found out it was based on a book from Charlaine Harris, who also wrote the True Blood series--the books then became must reads for me. It differs from the TV show but that doesn't matter to me. I loved this book and I love the TV show. I'm not a book reviewer so this is the description from Paperback Swap.
Midnight Crossroad - Midnight, Texas, Bk 1
Author:
Welcome to Midnight, Texas, a town with many boarded-up windows and few full-time inhabitants, located at the crossing of Witch Light Road and Davy Road. It’s a pretty standard dried-up western town. — There’s a pawnshop (someone lives in the basement and is seen only at night). There’s a diner (people who are just passing through tend not to linger). And there’s new resident Manfred Bernardo, who thinks he’s found the perfect place to work in private (and who has secrets of his own).
